For an optimal scanning process, PaperOffice 3 offers optimized automatic programs, in addition to the original manufacturer software.

To open the corresponding window, click on the "+" symbol in the upper menu bar and select "Paper Document". For the time being, select a scanner, note that installed scanners that support TWAIN and WIA are automatically displayed.

Then select the appropriate entry in the next area:

1. Scan using original software: Scans through the manufacturer software and passes the completed scan to ScanConnect. All quality settings are offered by your scanner manufacturer when selecting this program. Select this option if others do not meet your requirements.

2. Optimum quality (for documents up to 50 pages, automatic program): Documents grayscale 300dpi or documents color 300dpi. Scans your documents in grayscale or color, depending on the selection, in 300 dpi. Select this option if you want to scan up to 50 document pages. PaperOffice automatically adjusts the scan quality.

3. Normal quality (for documents up to 100 pages, automatic program): Documents grayscale 200dpi or documents color 200dpi. Scans your documents in grayscale or color, depending on the selection, in 200 dpi. Select this option if you want to scan up to 100 document pages. PaperOffice automatically adjusts the scan quality.

4. Low quality (for documents up to 300 pages, automatic program): Documents grayscale 150dpi or documents color 150dpi. Scans your documents in grayscale or color, depending on the selection, in 150dpi. Select this option if you want to scan up to 300 document pages. PaperOffice automatically adjusts the scan quality.
